9 KAS officers shifted

JAMMU, Oct 21: Government today ordered transfers and postings of 9 KAS officers.
According to an order issued by General Administration Department (GAD), Showkat Ahmed Zargar, Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu, vice Dr Abdul Rashid and Rajinder Krishan Varma, Special Secretary, Department of Tourism and Culture, has been transferred and posted as Director, Tourism, Jammu, vice Soujanya Kumar Sharma.
Dr Abdul Rashid, Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Project Director, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, relieving Shamim Ahmad Laherwal, Project Director, Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan of the additional charge of the post and Rafiq Ahmad Hakim, Director, Panchayati Raj and ex-officio Special Secretary, Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, has been transferred and posted as Director, Horticulture, Planning and Marketing, J&K, vice Showkat Ahmed Zargar.
Soujanya Kumar Sharma, Director, Tourism, Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Director, Information, J&K, vice Mukhtar-ul-Aziz and Mukhtar-ul-Aziz, Director, Information, J&K, has been transferred and posted as Director, Panchayati Raj and ex-officio Special Secretary,
Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, vice Rafiq Ahmad Hakim.
Masrat-ul-Islam, OSD with the Minister of State for Industries and Commerce, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Information Department and Mohammad Shafiq Chak, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, Tourism Department.
Laiq Parvez, Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Ganderbal, has been transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, vice Mohammad Shafiq Chak.
Shahbaz Ahmad Mirza, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal, will hold the charge of the post of Programme Officer, ICDS Project, Ganderbal, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
