BUDGAM, May 21: Disciplinary action has been ordered against 70 officers and officials found absent from duty in Budgam.
During the surprise inspection of various District Offices including CA&PD, Programme Officer ICDS, Deputy Registrar Cooperative, Block Development Office, Irrigation Sub-Division, Rural Engineering Wing, District Panchayat Office, DRDA, IWMP, PHE, R&B, PDD and Hydraulic Circle Budgam. Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam found 70 officers and officials unauthorizedly absent from duties.
Concerned officers were directed to take disciplinary action against the absentees as per rules.
The Additional District Development Commissioner Budgam impressed upon all the District Officers, subordinate officers and officials of various departments to ensure punctuality in the offices and ensure delivery system in all public services.
