658 selected SIs’ plea to Governor

JAMMU, Mar 16: The selected 658 candidates as Sub Inspectors in Police department have sought the intervention of the State Governor, Satya Pal Malik and concerned Advisor to decide their fate as their fate was hanging in balance for the last three months.
Some aggrieved youth who were selected as Sub Inspectors vide Government notification No. PERS-A-2016/75303-403 after going through tedious selection procedure, revealed that some candidates from Kashmir, who even did not qualify or were part of selection list, by playing mischief have stalled the process involving some officials from the Home department.
They demanded that for the last three months, these youth are being victimized. And if there is any court case, it should be promptly followed by the senior officials in the Home department.
