JAMMU, Mar 16: Tribal United Front (TUF), J&K has appealed Election Commission of India (ECI) to hold Assembly elections in the State either before May 10 or in the month of November or December.
A press release issued by the Front said if the State Assembly elections were conducted before May 10, tribals will not be in a position to exercise their right of voting due to the problems associated with their profession and nature of work.
The Front appealed ECI and Governor SP Malik that Assembly elections must be held before May 10 or in the month of November or December, as held earlier in the year 2014.
