JAMMU, Mar 16: RS Pura police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ arrested two drug traffickers and recovered heroin from their possession.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station RS Pura led by SI Kuldeep Kumar established a naka at Jinder Melu and nabbed two drug traffickers along with 6.5 grams of heroin.
The arrested persons have been identified as Sahil Sharma, son of Bumesh Chander of Bhatyari, Tehsil Bishnah and Raj Kumar, son of Jagdish Raj of Nanak Nagar, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 40/19 under section 8/21/22/27-A/29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation has been initiated.
