MENDHAR, June 6: Six cattle including two buffaloes were charred to death as a Kucha cattle-shed caught fire in Salwah area in Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district today.
Official sources said that cattle-shed of one Mohd Alsam, resident of Salwah village suddenly caught fire today at around 3 pm. The cattle-shed nearby his house, was completely gutted in the incident. Two buffaloes and four goats were charred to death on the spot. The house was, however, saved by the villagers. The police has taken cognizance.
