UDHAMPUR, June 25: Five persons were injured when a car, they were travelling in, met with an accident near Battal Balian, national highway Udhampur.
According to the reports, the Alto 800 car, bearing registration number JK14F-7049, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Bullet Showroom on the National Highway at Battal Balian Udhampur. Locals and police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors referred one of them to Military Hospital Udhampur and other four to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Pritam Singh was referred to the Military Hospital while those referred to GMC Hospital Jammu, were identified as Abdul Karim (60), son of Keker Sain, Pritham Singh (80), son of Majra Singh, Sakina (55) wife of Abdul and Uttam Singh (70), son of Prakash Singh, all residents of village Kalta Chak in Udhampur.
