REASI, May 11: Foiling an attempt of bovine smuggling, Reasi Police today rescued five animals and arrested the smuggler.
These animals were being smuggled to Kashmir via Gool area of district Ramban. The smuggler, identified as Ghulam Nabi of Garri, was intercepted by Police during a naka at village Maslot under the jurisdiction of Arnas Police Station.
A case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Arnas.
