5 Anticipated movie premieres on Netflix

When you think of Netflix, you probably think of binge-watching your favorite shows. Of course, there is nothing wrong with that. However, the streaming giant doesn’t just have TV shows. Netflix has also become a movie powerhouse with a library of original films rivaling what’s offered in theaters.

The thing is that you probably do not have the time to check out what is in store for you and this is where this article comes in.

This month alone, there are some must-see movies set to hit Netflix — and the best part is they’re all original so that you won’t find them anywhere else! Here are five debuting in April that you absolutely cannot miss.

Green Mothers’ Club

The Green Mothers’ Club is a documentary series chronicling “a group of mothers who have discovered a way to make money while staying home with their kids.” The documentary series dives into the lives of the moms who have dedicated themselves to creating a greener lifestyle for their families and communities. The show follows them as they create eco-friendly home products, learn how to make healthier meals, and do what they can to help Mother Earth. If you are worried about accessing this film because of your location, then you need to know that streaming can be done via VPN on Samsung TV and effortlessly too. Netflix has been working hard to increase its market share for non-fiction shows like Green Mothers’ Club, which are cheaper to produce than scripted programming. The goal is to build on the success of shows like Chef’s Table and Wild Wild Country.

The Bubble

There is a film in the works at Netflix that has big-name actors, a director beloved by movie fans, and an intriguing concept.

The film is called The Bubble and is one of the best works from Judd Apatow, the genius who brought us ‘Knocked Up and the 40-Year-Old-Virgin’. The film tells the story of a group of actors in isolation together during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Essentially, the characters live together in Sorkin’s version of a “bubble” — away from other human contacts — as they try to shelter from COVID-19. They do this while striving to come up with and complete a dinosaur franchise film.

Dancing on Glass

You will undoubtedly love ‘Dancing on Glass, directed by Jota Linares.’ This is particularly true if you enjoyed films like “Dance Flick and ‘High School Musical.’ This particular film focuses on two people – a ballerina and an outcast dancer. When the pressure of being in a lead role puts pressure on the ballerina, she finds herself getting closer to an outcast dancer, and they end up creating a world of their own that free from societal expectations.

Metal Lords

Netflix has released the teaser trailer for its new movie, Metal Lords (2022), starring Kevin and Hunter, and it looks sick!

Metal Lords (2022) follows the two misfits who form a heavy metal band. Since metal isn’t exactly mainstream, the kids have to learn to play their instruments and write their songs. And because they’re not precisely well-off, they have to start from scratch with whatever equipment they can find lying around.

The teaser trailer shows the kids learning how to play their instruments and figuring out how to write their music. It also touches on some issues with being in a heavy metal band, like is it OK for non-metal musicians to play metal? Is there such thing as a “real” metal band? Can you be a metal musician if you don’t know how to play an instrument?

The movie is set to be released on April 8th, 2022.

Choose or Die

We all know that being broke can lead us to do things that we usually wouldn’t do. Now, this movie is just about that. It is about a broke student keen on winning an unclaimed $100 000 prize for an incomprehensible computer game in the 80s.

The girl then exposes herself to a series of highly horrific moments that will have you on the edge of your seat. Soon after, it dawns on her that the game is no longer just about the prize money but also her life.

Directed by Toby Meakins, we can assure you that this is a movie you will thoroughly enjoy if you are into horror films. Its initial release date is April 15th, 2022.
