4 gamblers arrested

SAMBA, May 23: Samba Police arrested four gamblers including one lady and recovered stake money of Rs 19,700 from their possession at village Palth area of Samba district.
According to the police , acting on specific information about gambling a police party of Police Station (PS), Samba headed by Inspector, Suraj Pathania, SHO Police Station Samba raided at gambling spot in village Palth area of Samba and arrested four gamblers including one lady with stake money of Rs19,700 and playing cards recovered on spot.
The gamblers have been identified as Manga Ram, son of Mohinder Masih resident of village Balode Samba, Vijay Kumar, son of Kashmira Masih resident of Madhera Samba, Kak son of Kala resident of Palth Samba and Pammy Devi wife of Vijay Masih resident of Madhera Samba.
The whole operation had conducted under the overall supervision of SSP Samba, Shakti Pathak under the direct supervision of DySP Samba.
Taking cognizance of the matter, all the gamblers were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act at Police Station Samba.
