UDHAMPUR, June 1: Police today rescued four bovine animals and arrested two smugglers, who were taking these animals to Kashmir Valley.
A police party from Police station Udhampur intercepted the Mahindra vehicle, bearing registration number JK14B-6084, on the National Highway at Jakhani and rescued these bovine animals. Two bovine smuggler, identified as Shan Mohd of Rathian Udhampur and Mohd Hussain of Ramban were arrested on the spot.
Police has registered a case in this connection.
