JAMMU, June 1: The 38th Battalion of CRPF celebrated its 49th raising day at its unit headquarters at Smailpur.
On the occasion, special guard was mounted and various programmes like pooja, games, painting competition, cultural programme and barakhana were organized by the unit.
SO and jawans who performed well in the competition were awarded by Commandant 38th Battalion CRPF Ram Kumar.
The 38th Battalion CRPF has been deployed at Smailpur in District Samba since June 2007 and the unit is conducting various programme for developing good relation with public and for the welfare of public like constructing toilets, organizing games etc.
38 Battalion is also securing the Yatri Niwas at Bhagwati Nagar during Shri Amarnathji Yatra since 2012.
