3 killed, 5 injured in different accidents

SRINAGAR, July 24: Three persons including a policeman died while as five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tractor number JK13B/5486 rolled down near village Overigund, Tral, resulting in on spot death of Abdul Hamid Dar, age 37 years, son of Abdul Majid resident of Overigund and injuries to Mukhtar Ahmad Dar, age 35 years, son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Overigund who were traveling on the Tractor. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A motorcycle number JK05C/6419 driven by Burhan-u-Din, aged 17 years son of Ghulam Jeelani resident of Sidiq Colony, Sopore, rammed with wall of a compound at Noorbagh, Sopore. The mishap resulted in on spot death of the motorcycle driver. A case has been registered in this regard.
An Auto Load Carrier hit and injured a police constable Abdul Majeed Tantray son of Abdul Rashid resident of Dhama-Vilgam, Handwara at Soura, Srinagar. The injured was rushed to SKIMS, Soura, for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Scorpio number JK14A/7901 and a Santro number JK02AG/5128 collided on National Highway near Sangam, Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to Aaqib Nazir Kakpori son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Bemina, Srinagar. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment..
A Tata Sumo JK05/4674 hit and injured two pedestrians Abdul Rashid Lone aged 30 years, son of Abdul Ahad resident of Harwan, Sopore and Ghulam Nabi Ahanger, aged 40 years, son of Ghulam Rasool resident of Chogal, Handwara. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura for treatment.
A motorcycle and a bus number JK01D/3510 collided at Bus Adda, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh son of Ali Mohammad resident of Sheeri. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. The police has taken cognizance in all the cases.
