JAMMU, Dec 4: Public Works (R&B) Department Principal Secretary Shailendra Kumar today ordered suspension of three Engineers posted in Udhampur district who were caught red handed by the CBI taking corruption of Rs 1.5 lakh the other day.
The suspended Engineers include Hilal Ahmad Sheikh, Superintending Engineer, PK Koul, Technical Officer to SE in the rank of AEE and Sanjay Koul, Junior Engineer.
The suspension has been ordered pending inquiry into conduct of the Engineers, an order issued by Kumar said.
