KISHTWAR, Dec 11: Three persons died after a water tanker rolled down into gorge in Kiroo area here today.
As per police sources, a water tanker engaged with Kiroo Hydro Electric Project rolled down into gorge in Kiroo area, resulting into on the spot death of three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and retrieved the bodies from the deep gorge.
After conducting post-mortem at District Hospital Kishtwar, the bodies were handed over to family members for last rites.
The deceased were identified as Tariq Hussain (driver), son of Abdul Majid, Arslan, son of Lassa and Janu, son of Abdul Qayoom, all residents of Offani Padder District Kishtwar.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Kishtwar and investigation started.
