JAMMU, Dec 11: The Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA) today reiterated call for bandh in the Union Territory of Ladakh on December 13.
Yesterday, the Leh Apex Body (LAB) had reiterated the bandh call.
Both LAB and KDA have given the call for bandh demanding Statehood for Ladakh, Sixth Schedule like Constitutional safeguards, two Lok Sabha seats (one each for Leh and Kargil) and one Rajya Sabha seat.
The bandh call has been given as the Union Ministry of Home Affairs neither invited the LAB and KDA for talks nor set up any Committee for negotiations.
The KDA leaders reiterated the bandh call at a press conference addressed in Kargil district.
