JAMMU, Oct 6: Three criminals have been booked under Public Safety Act (PSA) for their involvement in various criminal cases.
Three notorious hardcore criminals identified as Gurmeet Singh alias Chotu of Preet Nagar, Digiana, at present Bonga, Kiratpur Punjab, Harjeet Singh alias Jambo of Sector No 10, Nanak Nagar, Jammu and Amandeep Singh alias Aman of Nanak Nagar, Jammu was booked under PSA by District Magistrate.
The accused were involved in number of attempt to murder, stabbing, extortion, possession of illegal arms cases within the district Jammu and creating fear of insecurity among the residents of the locality.
They have been sent to jail.
The criminals were arrested by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Bishnesh Kumar under the supervision of SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
