RAJOURI, Sept 19: The police seized 20 bovine animals and arrested one person in this connection in Kotranka area today.
A police spokesman said that Kandi police party during naka last night intercepted 20 bovine animals being taken on foot along the road towards Rajouri. On seeing police two of them managed to escape while one smuggler was nabbed by police. The police seized the cattle and registered a case in this connection. The arrested cattle trader had no valid documents with him. He was identified as Mudassar Iqbal, son of Abdul Karim, resident of Rajouri.
