2 nabbed with charas

RAJOURI, Dec 4: The police today arrested two drug-peddlers and recovered 590 gm of charas from their possession in Rajouri district.
Official sources said that continuing its campaign, the police party from Rajouri nabbed two drug peddlers and recovered 590 grams of charas from their possession today. A team of Rajouri Police Station headed by SHO Sameer Jillani and assisted by police team of Chingus headed by PSI Sahil Chowdhary laid a naka at Kote Dhara bridge. It was noticed that two persons moving towards the bridge, started behaving suspiciously after seeing police naka. The police team managed to intercept the duo and held both of them. On their frisking 30 rolls (Challies) of Charas like substance weighing 590 grams were recovered from them.
Both the persons identified as Ibrar Ahmed, son of Mohd Afzal, resident of Kote Dhara and Mohd Qasim, son of Abdul Qadir, resident of Kote Dhara were arrested. A case in FIR No. 721/21 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection.
