2 killed, 2 injured as oil tanker falls into gorge

REASI, Apr 7: In a tragic road accident, two youth died and two others were critically injured when an oil tanker plunged into a deep gorge at Judda, under the jurisdiction of Arnas Police Station, late last night.
Reports said that the accident took place late last night when the oil tanker was on its way from Reasi to Dugga. Two persons reportedly died on the spot while condition of one of the injured was stated to be critical.
The deceased were identified as 26-year old Mohinder Pal of Gabbar, tehsil Bhomag and Dhayan Singh (21), son of Kaku Ram of Lamsora number 2, Arnas.
The injured, identified as Tariq, son of Bashir Ahmed of Dharote and Surjeet Singh, son of Paras Ram of Dharote, were shifted to District Hospital Reasi where Surjeet Singh was later referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
The accident took place when the oil tanker, bearing registration number JK02AB- 9882, skidded off the road while negotiating a blind curve at Karka in Judda and slipped into deep gorge resulting into on spot death of two persons and injuries to two others.
