JAMMU, Mar 13: RS Pura police arrested two drug peddler and recovered 26 kilograms poppy straw and 1400 intoxicant capsules from their possession.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from RS Pura Police Station led by SHO Inspector Chanchal Singh and assisted by ASI Mohammad Fazal laid a naka on Tanda road and intercepted a car bearing registration number PB18F-4477.
During checking, police recovered 26 kilograms of poppy straw and 1400 intoxicant capsules from the car and arrested two persons.
The arrested persons have been identified as Surinder Singh, Kirpal Singh and Harjeet Singh, son of Inder Singh, both residents of Ward Number 2 Simbal Camp.
A case under FIR Number 38/19 under NDPS Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
