SAMBA, Feb 24: A lady and a girl were killed after hit by Malva Express at Railway track near Vijaypur early this evening. The identity of the duo is yet to be ascertained. They have been shifted to Mortuary of Government Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for identification and autopsy.

Reports said that the two were trying to cross the railway track when the train on way from Delhi to Jammu hit them in the evening. The lady seems to be of 35 years of age while the girl appears to be of 10 years. GRP Vijaypur has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a child died after hit by a car at Ward Number 5 in Vijaypur town today. The child belonged to migratory laborers and he was playing on the road when car hit him.
He was identified as Shivam, son of Jagram of Rajasthan and were putting of at Ward No 5 Vijaypur at present.
He was shifted to Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur by the car driver for treatment where from after the first aid he was referred to Government Medical College & Hospital (GMC&H) Jammu for treatment but the child died in the Emergency Ward of the GMC & Hospital. The Vijaypur Police has registered a case in this regard under relevant Sections of the law and started hunt for the car driver who is still at large. The body is still in mortuary of GMC.
