2-day national seminar on Hindi concludes

JAMMU, Mar 29: On the  second  day of  two day  national seminar,   organized  by  Department of Hindi, University of Jammu, on the topic  ‘Nai Sadi Ka Sahitya:Chunotian Aur  Sambhain’, two sessions were conducted wherein nine  research papers  were presented. .
In the first  session Prof Ravi Shrivastav of  Jaipur University, Rajasthan, delivered    lecture  on criticisms in which  he  maintained  that  Hindi  literature  is  plagued  with  dearth  of  good  critics.
Dr Sunita from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Mukesh, Vijay Kumar, Rajni Kumari and Jyoti Sharma presented their research papers.
In his presidential address, Dr Vshisht Narain Tripathi from Banaras Hindu University, focussed on the various problems regarding environment, population explosion and communication.
Dr Rajni Bala who was  the  main speaker  in second session, opined  that information  technology and  transcription of  literature  has  taken the  place of  literature.
Suresh Kumari, Anu Plathia, Sunil Kumar Saliada and  Vandana Sharma presented  their  research  papers. The session was  presided over  by  Prof  Pushpa Rani while  Dr.Parvinder Kour presented  the vote of thanks.
