16 bovine animals rescued, 4 held, vehicles seized

JAMMU, Feb 20: Police from Jhajjar Kotli Police Station here today rescued 16 bovine animals and seized four different vehicles involved in this at Suketar and arrested four smugglers.
The seized vehicles were with registration numbers JK02CM/8876, JK02CV/2536, JK02CT/7104 and JK02CP/9389.
Cops have registered four different cases under sections 188 IPC and 11 PCA Act at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli in this regard and started investigation while the arrested accused person were identified as—Ghulam Nabi son of Feroz Din of Belicharana; Maneer Ahmed son of Ghulab Din of Dablahar R.S Pura; Mohd Hussain son of Saif Din resident of Satwari and Shabir Ahmed son of Lal Hussain of Katyar Nowshera.
The entire operation was conducted by SHO Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, Inspector Devinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota, Pardeep Kumar.
