JAMMU, July 2: On stop-gap arrangement, the State Government has ordered placement of 12 Section Officers of Secretariat Service as Under Secretaries while consequent upon these promotions and their adjustment, several officers were shuffled with immediate effect.
The promoted officers include Farooq Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Shafi Bhat, Ghulam Dastgir Alam, Shubi Tabasum, Latief Ahmad, Manzoor Ahmad Khan, Anjali Fotedar, Raj Rani, Agya Anand, Zahoor Ahmad Bhat, Nissar Ahmad Wani and Hakim Riyazul-Haq.
Farooq Ahmed Malik, on his promotion, is posted as Under Secretary Social Welfare Department vice Mohd Yakub Malik. Mohd Shafi Bhat shall continue in the J&K State Information Commission while Ghulam Dastgir Alam is posted as Under Secretary Finance Department.
Shubi Tabasum is posted as Under Secretary Information Technology while Latief Ahmad is posted as Under Secretary Revenue Department vice Farooq Qazi.
Manzoor Ahmad Khan shall continue in the Health and Medical Education Department while Anjali Fotedar is posted as Under Secretary ARI and Training Department. Raj Rani and Agya Anand shall continue in the Home Department and Planning Department, respectively.
Zahoor Ahmad Bhat is posted as Under Secretary Higher Education Department vice Javed Ahmad Reshi while Nissar Ahmad Wani shall continue in the RDD. Hakim Riyaz-ul-Haq is posted as Under Secretary PWD (R&B).
Consequent upon these adjustments and transfers, some other officers were also shuffled.
Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, Assistant Director Estates, is transferred and posted as Under Secretary RDD while Javed Ahmed Reshi, Under Secretary Higher Education Department, has been transferred and posted as Assistant Director Estates vice Kuldeep Kumar Gupta.
Ishtiaq Ahmad Bhat, Under Secretary JK PSC, is transferred and posted as Under Secretary Forest Department. Romesh Kumar Giri, Under Secretary Home Department, is transferred and posted as Under Secretary Transport Department.
Meanwhile, according to a Cabinet decision, Selection Grade and Special Scale of KAS were accorded to A K Razdan.
