JAMMU, Jan 25: Central Reserve Police Force has bagged five President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Services and 57 Police Medals for Meritorious Services on this Republic Day.
Out of five CRPF officers who received President’s Police Medals, one is Dr V K Singh, Inspector General (Medical) CRPF Composite Hospital, Jammu. Dr Singh has arranged best medical treatment facility for security forces during the first and second wave of Covid and successful treated around 3000 patients from different CAPFs as well as from public with 100 percent success.
Police Medal for Meritorious Service have been bagged by 11 CRPF officers posted in J&K. They are Nisar Mohd, Commandant, 126 Battalion Reasi, Prahlad Paswan, Commandant, 121 Battalion, Hiranagar, Jammu, Yad Ram Bunker, Commandant, 6 Battalion, Katra, Vasudev, 2nd –In-Command, 40 Battalion, Anantnag, Dharampal, Inspector/GD, 23 Battalion, Srinagar, Moonga Lal, Inspector/GD, 14 Battalion, Shopian, Ram Saroop, Inspector/GD, 183 Battalion, Pulwama, Devraj, Inspector/GD, 29 Battalion, Srinagar, Philemjit Singh, Sub Inspector/GD, 176 Battalion, Baramulla, Keshava K S, Sub Inspector/GD, 49 Battalion, Karan Nagar (Srinagar) and Kanta Devi, Nursing Assistant, GR-1 (non Compatised) Bantalab (Jammu).
