10 arrested with Rs 44,740 stake money

JAMMU, Jan 2: Pounichak police arrested ten gamblers along with Rs 44,740 stake money and playing cards.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pounichak Police Post conducted raid in Hazuri Bagh area of Bohri and arrested ten gamblers along with Rs 44,740 stake money and playing cards.
A case under Gambling Act has been registered against them at Domana Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pounichak Police Post SI Arun Slathia made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Domana Inspector Sumit Sharma, SDPO Domana Sandeep Gupta and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
