JAMMU, Jan 2: Clerical cadre employees have urged upon the State Government to remove anomaly in their pay grades.
In a meeting of the cadre held under the banner of J&K Government Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee-R, the members sought the immediate intervention of Chief Minister and Finance Minister into the matter. Babu Hussain Malik, president of Clerical Staff Association said that despite assurance and High Court directions, the Government failed to remove pay anomalies. He demanded that it should be removed before the implementation of 7th Pay Commission in the State.
The other demands projected by Malik are- implementation of 7th Pay Commission report on Central pattern, conduct of DPC on time, increase the Medical allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 per month to Rs 2000 per month, regularization of temporary/ daily rated workers and provision of LTC on the pattern of Central Government.
Prominent among those present included K A Dewani, Bharat Bhushan, Meenakshi, Seva Ram Rathore, Ashok Singh, Munish Sharma, Farida Bano, Vikas Chander and Kapil Gupta.
