Srinagar, Apr 29: A woman was killed, while five others were injured in two separate road accidents in the Valley.
A police spokesman said a truck, JK01S/0137, of SMC Srinagar hit a motorcycle near Solina in which the motorcyclist’s pillion, Aisha Begam wife of Abdul Rehman Malik of Haran, Budgam was critically injured.
She was shifted to SMHS Srinagar where she succumbed to her injuries, the spokesman said.
Five passengers were injured after a mini-bus, JK01E-8468, on way from Kangan to Chatergul turned turtle at Barwal Kachnambal, Kangan, the spokesman said.
He said all the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment, adding police has registered cases in these accidents.
