ZSWO conducts tour of Khour, takes stock of ESM problems

JAMMU, Nov 29: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer (ZSWO) Jammu, Col (Retd) JDS Kotwal, along with his staff paid a visit to Khour and attended to the problems of ex-servicemen, widows, war widows and their dependents on the spot.
Col Kotwal spoke to the gathering regarding the revised schemes and welfare measures being extended by Central and State Governments. The gathering was also apprised of the revised rate of One Time Incentive for the wards of ex-servicemen who have passed the board exams with 60% and above percentage of marks.
The latest order on implementation of 7th Pay Commission report was explained in detail. The present gathering was also informed regarding approval of State Government for enhancing the Militia relief. Latest policy/ recruitment letters received from Army Headquarters and other agencies were informed to the gathering.
Public was also made aware of the requirement of ‘Aadhar Card’ for payment of various schemes sponsored by the Central and State Governments. Time for submission of education grant forms to the eligible ESM and widows was also intimated.
All other enquiries of the ESM and widows were clarified on the spot.
