JAMMU, June 10: Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Jammu, Col (Retd), JDS Kotwal along with his office staff visited Sai Kalan, tehsil R S Pura today to attend the problems of the ex-servicemen, widows, war widows and their dependents on the spot.
Col Kotwal spoke to the gathering regarding the revised schemes/welfare measures being extended by the Central and State Governments to them. They were informed about extended rates on one time incentive for the wards of ESM who have passed the board exams with 60% and above percentage of marks.
Further, the gathering was informed regarding approval of the State Government for enhancing the militia relief, latest policy/recruitment letters received from Army HQ/other agencies.
Public was also made aware of Aadhar Card for payment of various schemes. All general enquiries of the ESM/widows were clarified on the spot.
