JAMMU, Dec 2: The bust of Dogra Military Commander, General Zorawar Singh is all set to be installed at General Zorawar Singh Auditorium complex in University of Jammu wherein the unveiling ceremony will be held on December 12, the day the legendary warrior attained martyrdom.
This was informed by General Zorawar Singh Memorial Educational and Charitable Trust members in a press conference here today and they also extended invitation to all for attending the unveiling ceremony for which the Lieutenant Governor, J&K UT, Manoj Sinha has consented to grace.
Riya Kaluria, Trust’s Trustee told reporters that the Bust outside the Auditorium was long awaited and it is a moment of joy that after so many years the Auditorium in Jammu University is going to get the Bust of great Dogra warrior after whom the Auditorium is named.
“The Bust of General Zorawar Singh will not only be the real true and befitting identity to the largest Auditorium in Jammu but it will also serve as a source of inspiration for the younger generations,” Riya maintained adding: “The initiative was made a success with the support from Jammu University, UT administration and prominent people and organisations of J&K.”
Devinder Singh Kaluria, Trust chairman and Dikhsa Kaluria, another Trustee were also present on the occasion.
