JAMMU, Mar 12: Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman of Team Jammu, today released Gojri song, “Mero Jammu Te Kashmir” here at a function held at the Press Club of Jammu.
The song was written and performed by Ameen Anjum, a well-known Gojri singer, with Sahil Nath as the music director, K K Malhotra as the director, and Prerna Sharma as the Assistant Director.
The song, featuring Ameen Anjum and Lakshmi Thappa as actors, highlights the beauty of Jammu and Kashmir’s hilly and snow-clad terrain and depicts the simple nomadic life of the Gujjar community.
Speaking at the function, Zorawar Singh Jamwal praised Ameen Anjum’s beautiful rendition of the folk song and highlighted the importance of promoting art and culture through such initiatives.
He also commended the efforts of musicians, singers, and artists in promoting the diverse culture of Jammu and Kashmir and hoped that their work would reach admirers around the world.
Zorawar Singh Jamwal also praised Ameen Anjum for promoting Dogri language and culture while simultaneously working as a teacher in the remote Kandi belt of Nagrara in Tehsil Bhalwal.
The event was attended by several other prominent personalities, including Advocate Akram, Abdul Rehman Shaheen, Master Abdul Majeed, Khadam Hussain, and Javed Iqbal.
