LOS ANGELES, June 10: “Avatar” star Zoe Saldana’s has revealed her husband Marco Perego has adopted her last name after they secretly got married two years ago.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy” actress made the revelation in a magazine which featured her on the cover, reported Ace Showbiz.
The 36-year-old actress said she initially rejected her Italian artist husband’s decision to become Marco Saldana.
“I tried to talk him out of it. I told him, ‘If you use my name, you’re going to be emasculated by your community of artists, by your Latin community of men, by the world,’ ” she said
Saldana and Perego tied the knot in the summer of 2013. The couple welcomed twin boys Cy and Bowie back in November 2014. (PTI)
