NEW DELHI, Mar 25: Zinc futures edged up by 0.55 per cent to Rs 118.20 per kg amid a firm global trend and better domestic demand as speculators enlarged positions.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in March edged up by 65 paise, or 0.55 per cent, to Rs 118.20 per kg, with a business turnover of 313 lots.
The metal for delivery in April also rose by 55 paise, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 119.10 per kg, with a business turnover of 27 lots.
Marketmen said improved demand in the spot market amid a firming trend in select base metals overseas, supported the rise in metal prices at futures trade. (AGENCIES)
