NEW DELHI, July 13: Zinc prices fell by 0.97 per cent to Rs 127 per kg in futures trade today after speculators reduced their exposure, tracking a weak trend overseas.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc for delivery in August eased by Rs 1.25, or 0.97 per cent, to Rs 127 per kg in a business turnover of 14 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in July fell by Rs 1.15, or 0.90 per cent, to Rs 126.40 per kg in 393 lots.
Market analysts said zinc prices fell due to a weak trend in base metals in global markets. (PTI)
