Yudhvir terms achievements of Modi Govt as ‘historic’

JAMMU, May 31: Applauding performance of Modi Government as ‘Ek Saal Bemisaal’, J&K BJP vice president, Yudhvir Sethi termed the achievements of Modi Government during second term as historic which will be written in golden letters.
Sethi highlighted the achievements of Modi Government during a special prayer meeting conducted by the members of Christian community at St. Peter’s Church Christian Colony, near Prem Nagar here marking the completion of first year of Modi Government during second term.
Father Kuriakose, Priest in-Charge St. Peter’s Church prayed for the longevity of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi under whose stewardship the nation has touched new heights. He complimented Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and Home Minister, Amit Shah for abrogation of Article 370 which deprived the minority people residing in J&K of their rights. Parveen Kerni, Mandal president, BJP Jammu East, Vinod Kumar Gupta vice president, Jammu East and Vipan Sharma general secretary Jammu East were also present.
Sethi described Narendra Modi as the world’s “most popular leader” and said his Government in the first year has fulfilled decades-long aspirations and dreams of the people.
The year has been full of historic achievements, Sethi said, listing nullification of Article 370, which had given the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir special powers, and the law against Triple Talaq among its successes. The path to the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has also been cleared, it said. “All these achievements will be written in golden letters in history,” he emphasized.
Sethi also complimented the party workers for their hard work towards broadening the party base besides promoting party ideology among masses. “People have firm faith in the ideology and policies of BJP and that too because of party’s deep concern and love for them,” he asserted.
Sethi asked its members to inform people about Modi Government’s work to combat COVID-19. He also asked party workers to share the highlights of the Rs 20-lakh-crore package announced by the PM Modi.
Anil Mattoo and Caleb, vice presidents of BJP Minority Morcha Jammu, said that Articles 370 shielded the ‘misdeeds’ of the previous Governments in the erstwhile State and the people were unable to receive benefits of Central schemes and legislations. They said that the BJP Government at the Centre will bring development in the region and make the UT”a real paradise”.
