Yudhvir condemns assault on BJP leader

KATHUA, Dec 15: BJP J&K UT Vice President and In-charge for Kathua, Yudhvir Sethi today condemned the attack on Party’s Mandal President of Kathua allegedly by the candidate of opposition party in DDC polls.
Talking to reporters Sethi demanded security for all the BJP workers and leaders working on grass root level for strengthening the democracy in J&K.
He termed the assault on BJP Mandal President, who is also an ex-serviceman as unacceptable.
“Kathua district has witnessed massive development under BJP regime due to which people are wholeheartedly extending support to BJP candidates and such things are not digestible to the opposition party leaders,” he maintained adding that due to such frustration the opposition party leaders are attacking BJP workers.
The BJP leader further said that sole purpose of DDC elections is to strengthen the democracy at grass roots level.
He said that the attacker must be dealt under the law of the land so that such things may not happen in future.
“People have made up their mind and are set to choose BJP in the ongoing DDC elections since they know that BJP is the only party working tirelessly for the development, peace and prosperity of the people of J&K,” Sethi said.
He further said that the nationalist people of J&K must shun Congress, NC and PDP and would turn away from these self centric political parties.
“In the ongoing DDC elections the administration must provide security to all the BJP candidates and party leaders so that they can campaign without any fear and insecurity,” Sethi said.
BJP J&K Secretary, Gopal Mahajan; BJP SC Morcha District President, Bhopinder Raj; senior BJP leader, Arti Jasrotia; Narinder Kala, Dharamveer Singh and Akshay Bharti, District Co-Media Secretary BJP Kathua were also present in the news conference.
