JAMMU, May 14: Yogoda Satsang Dhyan Kendra (YSDK), Udheywala, Muthi today awarded scholarship to three students of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET), Jammu.
The scholarship was instituted in the year 2014 on the “Autogiography of Yogi” for the students of Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology, Jammu. The test is conducted every year. The students who secure first, second and third positions are given cash prize to the tune of Rs 40000, 30000 and 20000 respectively per year till the completion of the course.
In the test held last year, students namely Abhishek Balotra, B E 1st Semester (Civil Engineering) secured first position whereas Yamin Rafi and Arjun Katoch, both students of B E 3rd semester (Civil Engineering) secured second and third positions respectively. They were given scholarship last year also.
For the second year, they were given cheques of Rs 40000, Rs 30000 and Rs 20000 respectively today by Vidhi S Singh, (Chairman) on behalf of the Yogoda Satsang Dhyan Kendra in presence of Renu Bangroo, Managing Director and R S Dalpatia, Deputy Registrar, YCET.
