JAMMU, Sept 22: Ahead of the celebrations of birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh in Jammu, the activists of Yuva Rajput Sabha (YRS) today staged protest against a function, which was organised by the BJP activists at the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh on Tawi Bridge later in the evening.
Pertinent to mention here that today evening a function was organised by the BJP activists, in which the Former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta was scheduled to visit.
After getting the information about the visit by Kavinder Gupta, YRS activists reached the spot and started protesting against his visit.
Speaking on the occasion, YRS leader said that we will not allow Kavinder Gupta to reach on the stage as he had spoken against the Duggars of Jammu. If he wanted to come on the stage, he has to apologize for his remarks against the YRS and Duggars of Jammu.
Earlier, YRS activists also raised slogans against the senior BJP leader after which the administration has to deploy the police on the bridge to avoid any clash.
