JAMMU, Dec 23: Taking a cue from victory in Gujarat Assembly polls, youth vote and booth management will be in the core of BJP election strategy across the country as six States are going to polls next year.
This was indicated by Union Minister of State in PMO, Dr Jitendra Singh while addressing an impressive victory rally of BJP workers and his supporters, here today, on his maiden visit to Jammu after the Gujarat poll verdict.
“Gujarat poll results have once again proved that youth vote and booth management are going to be decisive factor in every election and BJP under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as national president Amit Shah will sweep all the elections with this strategy,” he said while addressing the rally.

Pertinent to mention that six States, including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan. Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Tripura and Meghalaya will go to Assembly polls next year.
Dr Jitendra Singh, who was co-incharge of the Gujarat elections, explained that booth level workers and youth played crucial role while charismatic leadership of PM Modi and strategy planning by Amit Shah led to historic victory of BJP for the sixth consecutive time in Assembly polls. “Rejecting divisive and caste based politics, people of Gujarat voted for development and youth played most crucial role in BJP’s victory,” he said and reiterated that this third generation of Independent India can not be swayed by hypocrisy or divisive politics, which is being resorted to by Congress and other opposition parties.
Apparently referring to Rahul Gandhi, Dr Jitendra Singh said visiting temples at the time of elections is not worship but a sin. “Drama was enacted but it was rejected by the people of Gujarat,” he said
Later, talking to media persons on sidelines of the rally, Dr Jitendra Singh again took a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his remarks on the ‘Gujarat model’ of development, and said the people have given their verdict in the recent Assembly polls.
“This is an evidence-based era. India of today is youth who constitute more than 70 per cent of the country’s population and go by evidence, facts and figures,” he said and claimed that the revolutionary transformation which Gujarat has witnessed was not only a case model itself but also a case study. “As far as his (Rahul’s) description of Gujarat model not existing is concerned, I have said this earlier also, 125 crore Indians are witness to the ‘vikas’ (development) happening in Gujarat. How does it matter that one person is not able to see it?”, he asked.
In response to another question about a National Conference legislator describing slain Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani as a “martyr”, the Union Minister said, “As far as we are concerned they are all terrorists and we cannot describe a terrorist as a martyr. They (NC) should show this regard to security personnel to whom the nation is eternally indebted.”
The massive victory rally was taken out in Trikuta Nagar area  and it culminated at the BJP headquarters.  The BJP workers and supporters of Dr Jitendra Singh were seen dancing on tunes of drum beats and raising slogans in support of the party.
