RAJOURI, Sept 6: Youth from various areas of district Rajouri held a brief protest at the main gate of the district police headquarters here today.
The youth from various tehsils of district Rajouri who have applied for the issuance of Character Certificate to the office of SSP today assembled at the main gate and started protest against Police department. They alleged that for the last 8-10 days, they are moving to the Police headquarters but the junior staff in the office is making them to visit again and again. The last date for submitting applications is also drawing nearer but the concerned staff is not cooperating and providing them the much needed certificate.
Later, DSP headquarters came to them and assured that they will get the certificate within two days. On his assurance the youth turned calm.
