KATHUA, May 7: A youth was killed after the motor bike he was riding was hit by an unknown vehicle at Mela More near Hiranagar on Jammu -Pathankote National Highway this evening.
He was identified as Navel Kishore, 37, son of Madan Lal of Trikuta Nagar Jammu. The youth was shifted to SDH Hiranagar by passers by where he succumbed to his injuries.
The Hiranagar Police has registered a case but there was no clue of the vehicle involved in hit and run act.
The body has been kept in Hiranagar Hospital and it will be handed over to the family tomorrow after postmortem.
