KATRA, May 7: Displaying rare act of honesty, a safai-karamchari with the help of two cops returned cash in thousands to a pilgrim family that had lost the money at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, here.
A purse containing cash worth Rs 70,960 was lost by Goutam Jain and his brother Hatish Jain from Gujarat, while taking bath at the Bhawan complex. The missing purse was found by a safai-karamchari Pushpa Devi, who handed it over to CID Section officer Raghubir Singh and Constable Rajnesh Kumar.
After proper verification, the purse along with cash was returned to the Jain brothers who expressed their gratitude to the trio and lauded their rare act of honesty.
