JAMMU, May 13: A young boy was killed today in a road accident at Patoli area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Domana.
According to a police official, Jatin Singh (18) son of Sukhdev, resident of Simblewala received serious injuries this evening when a mini-bus on which he was travelling from Jewel to Kanachak, was hit by an unknown vehicle on Jammu-Akhnoor Road at Patoli.
The injured boy was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the Hospital as postmortem on it will be conducted tomorrow.
The official said a case in this connection was registered at police station Domana and investigations started.
