SAMBA, Mar 4: Police recovered two dead bodies one from Nanak Chak Samba under the jurisdiction of Supwal Police Post while another was found hanging with a tree in village Dhora near Nad in the same district this morning.
According to In-charge Police Post Supwal, SI Parmodh Singh a dead body was recovered by the patrolling party of the Police from a railway Bridge Pillar No 2 this morning in Nanak Chak Samba this morning.
He has been identified as Raj Kumar Kewat son of Jangu Kewat of Chhatisgarh. A case was registered under Section 174 in PP Supwal.
Reports said the body of Gaurav Singh, 21, son of Atma Singh of Samba was found hanging with a tree early in the morning in village Dhora in Nad.
He was a factory worker. The police has yet to ascertain whether he had himself taken the extreme step or was done to death by some one else. The Samba Police has started investigations.
After the postmortem the dead body of Gourav was handed over to his parents for last rites. The Samba Police has registered a case under the relevant Sections and started investigations.
