UDHAMPUR, June 10: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his residence in Mian Bagh Udhampur.
The deceased was identified as Sunil Kumar (21) son of Jaghu Ram of Ramnagar, presently putting up at Mian Bagh Udhampur. He was found lying unconscious in his home late last night. Family members took him to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him as brought dead. Cause of death could not be ascertained immediately.
Udhampur Police has registered a case in this connection for investigations.
Meanwhile, according to Police, a youth namely Vicky Sharma, son of Des Raj of Blater Hartaryan was assaulted by some miscreants while he was on way to market, last evening. Family members shifted him to PHC Ghordi from where he was further shifted to District Hospital Udhampur.
In another incident, a ten-year old girl was hit by an unidentified two-wheeler at Khoon area of Majalta here tody. The injured girl, identified as Khushi Sharma, daughter of Uttam Chand of Omara has been admitted in Ramkote hospital.
