SAMBA, May 5: A youth was electrocuted when he was harvesting the crop with a machine in a field near village Abtal in Ramgarh tehsil of Samba district.
He has been identified as Sukha Singh, 25, son of Mehar Chand of village Putta tehsil and district Ludhiana, Punjab. The machine with which he was harvesting the crop touched a killer power line which was running over the field and the youth was electrocuted. He was rushed to the Government Community Health Centre Ramgarh where the doctors declared him brought dead. The Ramgarh Police has registered a case and started investigations.
