JAMMU, May 5: A 17-year old youth from Greater Kailash Jammu died while his two teenaged friends from R S Pura sustained injuries when a Honda City car, in which they were traveling, rolled down near Jhajjar Kotli.
The deceased was identified as Dhruv Gupta, son of Vinod Gupta of Greater Kailash. The injured, identified as Abhimanyu Gupta (17), son of Satya Paul Gupta and Gourav Gupta (18), son of Satish Gupta of R S Pura have been admitted in the hospital.
The accident took place around 5 pm when the new Honda City car without registration number rolled down into deep gorge from the National Highway between Jhajjar Kotli and Tikri.
A police team from Tikri Post rushed to spot and shifted the injured to local hospital where doctors referred them to District Hospital Udhampur. However, Dhruv Gupta succumbed to his injuries on way to Udhampur Hospital.
