KATHUA, Apr 21: A youth died late last night after the motor cycle which he was driving hit a RCC pole at Kali Bari near here.
He has been identified as Simple Khajuria, 24, son of Subash Khajuria of village Palli. He was on way to his residence from a marriage party in Kathua. However after reaching near Mehta Palace his bike hit a poll and he fell down on road. A passer by saw him lying in the pool of blood two hours later. He informed the Kathua Police which shifted the body to district Hospital Kathua where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
His identity could not be ascertained during the night and it was in the morning at 9 am that his family reached the hospital and identified him. Later Police handed over the body to family for last rites after postmortem.
Kathua Police has registered a case under Section 279/304 in this regard.
